Croatia
Croatia We only had a couple of days in Croatia but started out well with an unplanned swim in the sea. We ended up swimming for more than 3 hours. The water was so warm, calm and clear. The kids loved looking at the fish and other creatures. We stayed in a private apartment on a lifestyle block that had cats, a dog, goats and sheep. The animals were so friendly, it was a nice change from the main towns that we have been walking through for the last week. We took a day walking through Plitvice National Park with it's stunning blue pools and multiple waterfalls. Absolutely stunning! Croatia was a great break in nature!
