Dijon
Dijon - France
Dijon was busy but fun. It was known for the owls but the owls are not real. They are on a little arrow and they take you to all the important/cool stuff around the city. When you reach one of the points there is a big owl with a little number beside it whatever the number is is the number you are up to. We started at seven because it was the closest one to us. We got a book telling us the story and the importance of the place or the object or the building. It was very French there. The book helped us to navigate as well as the owls and helped us get started. Before we got started we were all thirsty so we all got a drink. I got a lemonade, James got Orangina, Kerry got strawberry juice and Daniel got ginger beer. We started and these are some of the things we saw an owl carved on the corner of the wall. Many years ago people put their left hand on it and made a wish. Me and James did it. Another was a church. It had many different art from years ago to art from now. It also had a very big room with some tombs in it with a very big fireplace that had decorations that went up to the roof of the room and took up a whole wall. One was a polar bear that was pretty life size. It was a statue. Next to it was a really really really big fountain! We went to a cafe for James Daniel and Kerry got an ice chocolate but I decided not to because I wanted to get something later. It was a dog themed cafe so there was lots of dog stuff and you can buy cupcakes for dogs. That was just a couple of the stops along the owl trail, there were 24 in total that we saw.

The next day we happened upon the Laughing Cow (vache qui rit) museum, shop and factory.
