Disneyland Paris

 Disney Paris

Day One

Disney Paris did not disappoint with its amazing scenery and rides. We went there at the start of the French school holidays and it was busy. But with the Harris’ there it was so much fun.

We started off the first day waking up at our heavily, colourful, Disney themed apartment room. We got up, hopped onto the bus. And arrived at the bus station. (it was the Harris’ first Disney.) When hopping out of the bus being greeted by rain we ran to shelter and decided to rope drop Ratatouille in the other park, Disney Studios.

This was Adele's favourite ride and it was very good for a tracked ride. This ride is meant to feel like you're a rat and you're running around in the kitchen. Spoiler, you go under an oven and the room heats up.

After that we popped next door to the Toy Story themed land and got on the RC Racer roller coaster at a short queue time. This was Mummy’s favourite ride and all it did was go back and forth like a pirate ship but much more thrilling. While we were in this land we quickly got onto Slinky Dog Dash (which just goes round and round).

After that we headed down to the Cars Road Trip which was very surprising. You get towed away by a big truck and go through some scenes including the world's biggest nut (that's not what they called it but I can't remember), billboards and then you come to a stop at a big canyon. Suddenly fire is everywhere, then like a flash flood comes down the mountain and then water is going over your head. “SO COOL!”

(now i have kind of lost track so this might not be in order.)

Next we went to the other side of the park to Avengers campus. We tried to ride the Avengers ride but it closed down but we got a fast pass. Then we decided to go to Spiderman WEB Adventure and single rider it. For this you wear 3D glasses, and you shoot webs and spider bots using your hand!

Going to the other park we got there just in time to see the amazing parade with big floats and fantastic actors. We saw the dragon underneath the castle. It was very dark. Then we got split up and we went to the lion king show which was very cool. Loads of brilliant singers and acrobats. We got back together then decided to do another show and we went to Mickey and the Magician.

This was me and mummy’s favourite show. Tons of amazing magic tricks, lots of animatronics, and great actors. This show is about Mickey cleaning a magicians room and getting to meet different characters from Disney.

Now going to the other park we did Indiana Jones, a roller coaster which was not the best, and then watched the spectacular parade with amazing floats and actors.

After that we did a small walk through Aladdin thing.

To the other park we did Sophie's favourite The Hollywood Tower Hotel / The Tower of Terror. In this haunted hotel you make your way through the queue and into an elevator. Then you will be greeted by The Twilight Zone. Have a terrifying ride in an elevator being pulled faster than the speed of gravity.

After we got to do the Avengers ride which was cool and we saved the universe. It's a roller coaster with a launch and you're helping Iron man and Miss Marvel deflect bullets.

Over at Fantasyland we did the Madhatters Teacups and the small boat ride around different models of Disney movies. Following the small boat theme we went to "It's A Small World" or in french “Que Le Monde est Petit!” which is a classic < Its A Small World after all, Its A Small World after all, Its A Small World after all, Its a small, small world >

After that we did Star Tours which is a star wars simulator ride that's like an airport that takes in a space ship and it goes wrong. There are lots of different possibilities for this ride so you get a different ride every time. To finish the day we did the big firework and drones and projections on the castle show which did not disappoint.

Day Two

Day two started off by going to rope drop Big Thunder Mountain. This is a huge family run away mine train coaster. It starts off by going fast under ground then going round and up and through a cave and splashing into the water then round then back under ground. It's amazing.

After that it was super busy so we decided to go to the other park and do the Toy Soldier Parachute Drop. Which is in a way a kiddie ride that you drop up and down constantly.

Then we did the Alice in Wonderland show which was huge! There was fire, there were singers, there were colour bombs, there were BMX riders, there were giant flower people, there were drummers, there were trampolinists, there was a lot.

Splitting up now between girls and boys.

Girls: The girls went to meet some Disney princesses and saw Jasmine and Ariel. After their princess encounter they went to see the disney all stars show. Which had four really good singers singing famous disney songs and Chip and Dale as the DJ’s.

Boys: The boys went to single rider Hyper Space Mountain Star Wars. Which is an indoor roller coaster with screens of Stars Wars space ships fighting. It's hyper because of the launch upwards at the start. They also did the mystery of the nautilus which is just walking through a submarine. Also we did Star Tours again and Darth Vader thought I was a secret spy.

After we met up again and the girls wanted to do Hyper space so we did that again. And then Helen and mummy split up from us.

We went to the other park and did Crush’s Coaster which is a spinning coaster and it's got pretty good scenery like when going up the chain lift there's a huge shark animatronic.

Mummy and Helen went onto the Carousel. And saved us a spot for the parade (Thanks). The parade had lots of Disney characters singing and at the end we all danced along to the exit of the park which was a great way to end the Disney fantasticness.

The End. - James
