Gloggnitz - Austria

Austria

Driving through the Austrian mountains was absolutely stunning. There was some postcard perfect villages to see along the way. It was strange driving through in summer as I always pictured it with snow etc. but still amazing to see.

Our first stop in Austria was a small place that we knew nothing about (but was on the way to Vienna from Slovenia). We used it as a bit of a rest stop and to do some more local things. It was also the first rain we had so perfect timing!

We happened upon a Lindt chocolate factory and shop (with samples, yum!) went to a local swimming pool (with a natural pool as well as typical with slides etc.) and went out for the best Chinese food we've ever had.

Side note: the Austrians are a bit of a grumpy bunch.
